The Interventional Unit provides diagnostic and invasive treatment services in four key areas: cardiovascular, neurology, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology, making use of high technology allowing safe and reliable procedures obtaining excellent results.

Hemodynamics - Cardiointervention

Responsible for the anatomical and functional study of the heart by introducing fine catheters through the groin or arm arteries. This technique, known as cardiac catheterization, allows us to know the exact state of the blood vessels mainly those that belog to the heart, allowing the evaluation of the arteries opacification as well as the possibility of their better permeability by means of endovascular meshes (Stents), which improve the blood supply ( Coronary angioplasty).

- Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, one or two vessels - with or without left catheterization, temporary pacemaker placement and immediate coronary control angiography
- Coronary angioplasty and / or atherectomy, of two or more vessels, plus intravascular placement of one or more stents
- Coronary angioplasty and / or atherectomy, one vessel, plus intravascular placement of one or more stents
- Coronary artery with right and left catheterization
- Coronary artery with left catheterization
- Coronary artery with left catheterization and angiography
- Combined catheterization of the hearth's right and left sides
- Combined catheterization of the sod hearth's right and left sides with an electrophysiological study

Cardiac electrophysiology is the science of the mechanisms, functions, and performance of electrical activities in specific regions of the heart. This term is generally used to describe studies of such phenomena by means of invasive (intracardiac) recording of spontaneous activity as well as cardiac responses to programmed electrical stimulation. These studies are performed to evaluate complex arrhythmias, clear up symptoms, evaluate abnormal electrocardiograms, evaluate the risk of developing arrhythmias in the future, and the designated treatment.

- Implantation of bicameral pacemaker sod (paq)
- Cardioverter or defibrillator implantation by the subcutaneous route (subpectoral)
- Unicameral pacemaker implantation sod (paq)
- Cardioverter or defibrillator implantation via intraclavicula
- Insertion of temporary transvenous pacemaker (transient) or implantation of events monitor sod
- Reprogramming for cardioverter / defibrillator sod
- Cardiac pacemaker(sod) removal
- Review [reprogramming] of pacemaker sod
- Radiofrequency ablation for heart injury or tissue catheter (259) (330)

It is oriented to the treatment of diseases in the central nervous system, spinal cord, spine and the head and neck region. Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for: intracerebral aneurysms, malformations and arteriovenous fistulas, thrombolysis for the management of cerebral ischemia (Stroke), intracerebral angioplasty and pre-surgical embolization of brain tumors.

- Selective bilateral vertebral arteriography with carotids (panangiography)
- Extracranial bilateral selective vertebral arteriography with arch aortogram
- Occlusion of intracranial vessels lesion by endovascular
- Intracranial vessels thrombolysis by endovascular

Vascular Peripheral

Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is a damage or blockage in the blood vessels in the peripheral arteries and veins that carry blood to and from the arms and legs muscles and the abdomen organs. PVD can also affect the arteries that carry blood to the head (see carotid arteries disease). When PVD affects only the arteries and not the veins, it is called "peripheral arterial disease" (PAD). The main types of PVD are blood clots, swelling (inflammation), and narrowing and blockage of blood vessels.
